Windmill Energy Application Forecast for US

DoE: 20% Wind Power By 2030
A recent Department of Energy report analyzed U.S. wind resources, technology requirements, and manufacturing, siting and transmission hurdles to increasing the use of clean and sustainable wind power.
The conclusion: wind power could provide up to 2% of the nation's total electricity needs by 2030.The report also confirmed "the viability and commercial maturity of wind as a major contributor to America's energy needs, now, and in the future."
It outlines a potential scenario to boost wind electricity generation from its current production of 16.8 gigawatts (GW) to 304 GW by 2030.For that to happen, no less than $400 billion will be invested in wind energy over the next two decades.
That works out to about $20 billion per year for the next 20 years, based on current DoE numbers.
With that amount of money on the table, savvy investors are sure to make a killing.
The Alternative Energy Speculator will show you how to get your fair share of wind-derived profits.
