 GERALDINE NETSCHERT TAILER HANOVER, N.H. - It is with bitter sweet hearts that we let you know Geraldine Netschert Tailer of Hanover, N.H. died on Saturday evening, March 28, 2009. She was ready to let go of her daily struggle with heart and lung disease. Peter Tailer, her husband and life partner of 56 years, was by her side as she passed gently in her sleep. She leaves the world a better place for her having been here 86 years and returns the atoms of her physical being back to the earth. Creating the Wind Farm Museum on Martha's Vineyard, environmental and peace activism and more than forty years of hospice work were some of her gifts to us. She is in peace. She is survived by her husband Peter Tailer; her daughter Christine Tailer of Straight Creek, Ohio, her partner Greg, their children, Jeff, Sean, Andrew, Catherine and her son Thomas Tailer of Essex, Vt. and his partner Elizabeth and their children, Kelly, Alexandra, and Emily. She is also survived by her sister Beverly Berke, her children, Debra and David and their children, Catherine (Tookie) Netschert, Julie, James and Caroline Netschert. She was predeceased by her brother Bruce Netschert, and her granddaughter Katelyn Tailer. In lieu of flowers, hug those you love and enjoy the spring. Gerry is everywhere. Celebrate Life!
Pete and Gerri married three [3] days after their first meeting... lived as ONE from that moment forward!
